This is my second year teaching technology at Brunson-Lee and I'm excited to share, learn, and teach with your child this year!
I lived and grew up in Southern California. I went to California State University of Fullerton where I got my BA in Visual Communications and my minor in Criminal Justice. I always liked computer-related tasks so I worked in the the graphic design field before marrying my husband and moving to Albuquerque, NM.
I got bit by the teaching bug while living in Albuquerque. So, I went back to school, got my teaching license, and began teaching what always interested me the most: computer technology and the endless possibilities you can do with it. What I love about technology is that it's constantly changing and keeping up with the newest and latest gadgets and apps keeps me on my toes.
My husband and I always wanted to live in Arizona. When we finally got the chance to move here we quickly made it our home. I love teaching and learning and I'm so excited to do it again with your students.
Computers, photo editing, desktop publishing, photography, and research are a few things I love to do with technology, but that's not all I like to do. I also love DIY home projects, re-purpose old, ratty furniture and read science-y type books and magazines. I also like Plumerias, Orchids, Snapdragons, listening to music (very) loudly, watch the same movies over and over, sporting clay shoot, vintage shop for things I don't need, baseball, hike and I have this love/hate relationship with golf.
I have been married to my husband for five years now. Our family consists of one fat, ornery cat named Kitty and two inseparable little Chihuahua-something-mixed dogs named Waffles and Oatmeal.
